The BBC's Naga Munchetty became visibly emotional and broke down in tears live on air upon learning the news of her colleague George Alagiah's passing. George had been battling bowel cancer and passed away at the age of 67. During her 5 Live radio show, Naga audibly expressed her sadness and said, "Apologies for the emotion in my voice - he was so loved in our newsroom." She further remarked, "He was a voice we trusted, and he was someone I can personally say I loved; he supported me greatly."
