On Wednesday, Lenovo introduced the Lenovo Tab P12 tablet, which comes with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7050 octa-core SoC. The tablet will be available in three different variants for RAM and storage options - 4GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. The device is backed by a robust 10,200mAh battery, boasting up to 10 hours of video streaming support. The Lenovo Tab P12 features a 12.7-inch LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 2,944x1,840 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate, delivering a stunning visual experience. It also comes equipped with quad JBL speakers for excellent audio quality.


The Lenovo Tab P12 is offered at a starting price of EUR 399 (approximately Rs. 36,168) for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is also available in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB+256GB storage configuration. The tablet comes in Storm Grey and Oat color options and is set to go on sale in select markets from August 2023.


As for specifications, the new Lenovo Tab P12 runs on Android 13 out-of-the-box and ensures longevity with two OS upgrades and four years of security patches. It features up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, which can be expanded further using a MicroSD card.

The Lenovo Tab P12 boasts a strong camera setup, with a 13-megapixel front-facing ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera accompanied by LED Flash. Its battery capacity is a robust 10,200mAh, delivering up to 10 hours of video playback time. Moreover, the tablet is equipped with quad JBL speakers, providing an impressive audio experience.


The Lenovo Tab P12 offers a range of connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C 2.0, and WiFi 6 support. Additionally, it comes equipped with various sensors, such as an accelerometer, gravity sensor, RGB sensor, gyroscope, e-compass, and hall sensor. For secure authentication, the tablet features a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power key. In terms of dimensions, the tablet measures 293.3 x 190.7 x 6.9 mm and weighs 615g.
