Medical sources conveyed to the Reuters news agency that "two young men were urgently transported to the hospital after sustaining gunshot wounds to their chests," as stated by the director of Jericho Hospital on Tuesday.
Local residents reported that there were armed confrontations between Israeli forces and individuals in the vicinity, although it remains uncertain whether the two individuals who lost their lives were engaged in the clashes.
The operation conducted by the Israeli forces lasted for a period of under an hour, as attested to by the local residents.
