Tune in to the live broadcast as Lucy Letby is sentenced on Monday, August 21, for the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of six more during her tenure at the Countess of Chester Hospital's neonatal unit between 2015 and 2016.

Anticipated to be the most prolific child serial killer in contemporary British history, Letby is likely to spend the remainder of her life incarcerated.

At 33 years old, Letby may receive a whole-life order, the harshest penalty within the UK criminal justice system for individuals involved in the gravest offenses.

The sentencing will be conveyed by Mr. Justice Goss at Manchester Crown Court.

Letby had previously conveyed her intention not to partake in the sentencing proceedings and would not follow them via a video-link from prison.

Robert Buckland advocated for the sentencing to be broadcasted into Letby's cell if she opts not to attend.

The former justice secretary expressed the belief that Letby should be made to listen to the victim statements presented by the families of the babies she murdered.

Buckland stated, "Impact statements that will really bring home, I think, to the wider world, the appalling devastating impact of the loss of these innocent children," in an interview with GB News.
