The Samsung One UI 5 update is reported to bring enhancements to sleep tracking and insights, along with offering recommendations for improving sleep quality.

Reportedly, Samsung is in the process of rolling out the One UI 5 Watch software update, based on Wear OS 4, for the Galaxy Watch 5 series in South Korea. This update was initially introduced with the Galaxy Watch 6 series and is now expected to reach all users of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

The latest update is anticipated to introduce several new features, including enhancements to health sensors, improved SOS functionality, enhanced sleep tracking, and personalized heart rate zone information.

According to Sammobile's report, users of the Galaxy Watch 5 series in South Korea can access the One UI 5 Watch update through the Galaxy Wearable app on their smartphones. This update is said to bring various additions, such as a redesigned Sleep Insights UI, improved SOS functionality, and a personalized heart rate zone that provides real-time running analysis.

Furthermore, the One UI 5 Watch update is expected to introduce new watch faces and Tiles. For instance, the Galaxy Buds Tile will allow users to toggle 360 Audio on or off. Additionally, the update will enable users to set a photo album as their wallpaper or background, rather than being limited to a single image.

Moreover, the update is reported to include the feature of pairing the smartwatch with a new phone without necessitating a factory reset. Other notable additions comprise the ability to manage calls through the Galaxy Watch, controlling call volume and muting calls, as well as supporting voice dictation, among various other functionalities. The One UI 5 Watch update also offers users the ability to monitor the watch's battery status, check storage information, and access memory details.

To obtain the latest One UI 5 Watch update, users are advised to follow these steps: Navigate to the Galaxy Wearable app, proceed to Watch settings, select Watch software update, and then choose Download and install. It is recommended to initiate the download process over a Wi-Fi network for optimal performance.
