World Athletics Championships 2023 Medal Standings

 

The 2023 World Athletics Championships have commenced in Budapest, with the United States once again taking the lead in the current medal table.

Last year, during their home championships in Oregon, the US secured the top position with 13 gold medals, surpassing Ethiopia with four golds. Jamaica, China, Kenya, Australia, and Peru each earned two gold medals.

While Great Britain and Northern Ireland achieved only one gold medal last year through Jake Wightman's victory in the 1500m, they have already exceeded that count in this year's competition in Hungary.
