Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior stated that anyone found guilty of racist behavior in football should be banned from the sport.
According to Rosenior, 'If any player, any coach or any manager is found guilty of racism, they shouldn't be in the game. It's as simple as that.'
Rosenior's comments come after Real Madrid player Vinicius Jr alleged racial abuse by Benfica's Gianluca Prestianni during a Champions League match on Tuesday.
Investigation Underway
Uefa has opened an investigation into the allegations, and Prestianni could face a minimum 10-match suspension in European competition if found guilty.
Rosenior, who has experienced racial abuse himself, defended Vinicius Jr's actions and emphasized the need for accountability in dealing with racism.
Reaction from Other Managers
West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo also condemned racism, stating that it needs to be 'eradicated all over the world' and that there is 'no space in football or society' for it.
Benfica manager Jose Mourinho had accused Vinicius of inciting the crowd with his goal celebration, but Rosenior defended the player's actions.
Racism in Football and Society
Rosenior believes that dealing with racism requires a broader debate that goes beyond football, involving accountability and stamping out prejudice in society and media.
